A day at Mosa Ballet School
Our students continue their general education, in addition to choreographic teaching from Monday to Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are free.
Boarders may return home at the weekend.
Those whose home is too far away are accommodated by hosting families, chosen with the utmost care.
7:30 – 8 am
A busy day begins with a balanced breakfast! Departure for general lessons.
8:15 am – 12:15 pm
Obligatory lessons at the Athénée Charles Rogier, a 200m walk from our premises. Students are integrated in classes with non-dancers, in order to encourage mixing, integration and their mastery of French
12: 15 – 1 pm
Return to Mosa Ballet School for lunch. The menus are designed by a specialist in top-sport nutrition.
1 – 3:30 pm
Instruction in dance and related disciplines: lesson in classical dance (bar, centre, points, variations, pas de deux, etc.), character dance, or contemporary techniques for older students; improvisation, stage and musical expression, and history of dance.
3:30 – 4 pm
Yoga, Pilates, Tai-chi and ‘self-care’ session, to suit requirements (osteopathy, physiotherapy, podiatry, coaching, etc.)
4:30 – 6:30 pm
Continuation of dance lesson (timetable depends on level)
7 – 7:45 pm
Time to relax together at dinner, which is always varied and delicious.
7:45 pm
Time to study/free time. A common and comfortable leisure area is provided within the boarding school.
9 – 10 pm
Lights out (time depends on the children’s age)
